I haven’t met you but I’ve seen you enough to know who you are – My friend Max used to work with you at MCASD and I’m also good friends with Michelle at the Quint. Our circles tend to overlap.

No need to clarify, it was a subtle jab. I’m hardly an art critique – either way I like your work.

‘usual suspect’ referred the likeliness that I would see you at the Quint (not necessarily in the show, however I was pleased to see your piece in the hall) and ‘cronies’ was referencing the small group that you stand around with.

What band? Oh, you mean the Blip & Alfie Band? -they’re great aren’t they?

hardly my “cronies”, i’ve never shown with any of that crowd before. but interesting nonetheless that you’d include me as a usual suspect – hmmm.

i definitely have to agree about the band.
